My Week in the Books {8}

What Happened:

Work, home, sleep. Work, home, sleep. Work, home, sleep. But I apparently read a lot. And started playing Pokemon again. So there’s that.

Also, I have decided that every weekend needs to be a 3-day weekend. I just feel much better about everything when I have that extra day off.

What I Posted:

My review of American Street by Ibi Zoboi.

Take a look at the movies I have watched over the last month with my What I’m Watching post.

A quick picks book talks post about Graphic Memoirs I have recently read.

What I Got:

I bought American Street and History is All You Left Me on Valentine’s Day for myself and picked up a used copy of See You At Harry’s for super cheap, too!

What I Finished:

I did a lot of reading and listening over the last two weeks! All of these books were really great, actually!

What I’m Reading:

Rereading The Hate U Give for its release review on Tuesday (!!!!!!!!!) and listening to Before I Fall (car audio) and Talking As Fast As I Can (getting ready audio). Both are really intriguing so far!

What’s Next:

I’m honestly not sure what I will pick up next, but both of these sound like great choices to me today. So we shall see!

This is an attempt to get some posting continuity on this blog again. I feel like this is a type of post I can commit to on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule and casually share about my bookish life. This was inspired by That Librarian Lady Laura and by the book blog weekly round-up memes The Sunday Post & It’s Monday: What Are You Reading? I am also hoping to reconnect with other bookish people. Here’s to trying new things!
