My Week in the Books {33}

What Happened:

So last weekend I was in New Orleans for ALA, which is why I didn’t post last Sunday. Guys, New Orleans is beautiful and fun but oh so very hot. I had fun hanging out in the exhibit hall all day and then exploring the city at night. We went on a walking historical ghost tour, which was super fun. I met Kelly Jensen and ended up with a bird on my head. We went to a really nice and tasty dinner, and I learned how to play Magic. Oh, and I got a lot of books!

This week was mostly chill after a chaotic and busy month. I worked a little bit at the Intermediate school library, sat in on interviews, and did a little work, but mostly I just hung at home with my puppy reading and watching TV.

What I Posted:

What I Got:

I got many many things from ALA. Here is a picture of my haul!

Here is the breakdown of what I got.

Finished Copies (mostly all signed):
ARCs (Most are for school/students, some are for me):

What I Finished:

 .

The last couple of weeks have been rather productive. Let’s see how my July goes!

What I’m Reading:

I haven’t started anything new yet.

What’s Next:

Since I got A Reaper at the Gates from the library, and I know that has holds on it, I may start my reread of the first two so I can get to that one. Or I may go for a cute RomCom. Or Contagion.

I’m not sure yet! SO MANY CHOICES!

This is an attempt to get some posting continuity on this blog again. I feel like this is a type of post I can commit to on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule and casually share about my bookish life. This was inspired by That Librarian Lady Laura and by the book blog weekly round-up memes The Sunday Post & It’s Monday: What Are You Reading? I am also hoping to reconnect with other bookish people. Here’s to trying new things!
