What Happened: This week was a really long week (and I was only at school four days!) Monday I took a much needed sick day to continue resting from my Bronchitis. Tuesday and Friday my school hosted the division basketball tournament, which we WON! 🙂 And in the library I continued my MASSIVE weeding project (I got through the 600s, 700s, and through 969 of the 900s). I’m not gonna lie–I really enjoy weeding. There […]

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme create at That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is: Ten Books that have Been on My TBR List the Longest! I have recently purged my Goodreads TBR from 1800 down to under 600, which is just crazy pants. I feel so much lighter though, and my Goodreads shelves are actually helpful for me to find my next read, so that’s good! These are ten of […]

Reading Round-Up is an end of the month recap of my reading life, including books read, reading stats, and reading challenge updates! It’s just an easy way for me to track my reading life! January is over. Good grief! It was really cold and I have spent a majority of the month ill (I caught the non-flu crud that is also running rampant, and it is terrible). This semester has started out slow, but I […]

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted at That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is: Ten Books I Really Liked (Even LOVED) But Can’t Seem To Remember! I have liked and loved a lot of books in my time. But apparently, there are some that I just don’t remember. How I came up with my list today? I sorted my Goodreads “Read” shelf by rating and scrolled through it. These are […]

My Week in the Books {18}

What Happened: Unexpected 5 day weekends are great! We had more winter weather down here in Alabama, so we got an extra couple of days off during our short week of school. Not gonna lie, it was nice (even if I was sick the entire time). I somehow managed to make it through my two days of work this week even though I was still sick. But this weekend it was sunny and beautiful, and […]

What Happened: Happy New Year, Y’all! It’s been a crazy couple of weeks For one, the weather has been CRAZY PANTS! Up and down and all around cold. So very cold. Also, school has started in full force. But with all this cold and flu epidemics, it’s a day by day thing right now. I have actually had a sore throat for the past couple of days, so I’m hoping that goes away soon. But […]
